We take our words back. Just when we praised Young Thug for his wise decision not to engage in a beef with his idol, Lil Wayne, the ATLien suffered a sudden change of heard and got at Weezy on social media.

It all started when Thugga decided he is worthy of continuing the legacy of his biggest influence and dubbed his new mixtape Carter 6. Once he unveiled the cover artwork for the free record though, he faced strong criticism by Wayne, mostly due to the explicit nature of the front image.

Next, the “Lifestyle” rapper took to Instagram to explain despite Tunechi’s denunciation, he remains his idol and it’s all cool. By the looks of it, that’s when Young Thug was approached by Wayne’s lawyers and was forced to change the title of the mixtape to Barter 6, inspired by the Blood gang members who are known for changing C’s to B’s at every opportunity.

So far, he remained respectful. The big turn was made by Thug yesterday when he returned to Instagram and posted two more videos. In the first one he challenges Wayne without mentioning his name and openly tells him to come to his New Orleans show where they can settle their differences the hard way. “Meet me there. Better yet, beat me there,” he says. The video then shows his armed entourage. In the second video, Thugga criticizes Weezy’s behavior and tells him not to “mix his feelings.

” If you’re going to be a founder or a leader and respect when people look up to you be that. If you’re going to criticize, be that. But don’t mix your feelings n****, that s*** weak,” Thug says.

Young Thug’s new mixtape, Barter 6, is dropping April 17th. As for Lil Wayne’s music plans, his Tha Carter V album is hopefully coming out later this year, but before that Tunechi’s fans will enjoy his greatest work yet – The Free Weezy Album.
